We are always happy to see a headphone jack on phones, tablets, and laptops — there’s simply no excuse to leave it off the spec sheet. Sadly, there is no headphone jack on the Air 2022.
The Air 2022 offers excellent performance at a price point that’s a lot more affordable than most high-end tablets. That’s a win in our book.

At 11 inches and 1.2 pounds, the tablet is a lightweight and easy travel companion.
With regard to performance, the Tab S8 has an incredible performance, and continues in the footsteps of the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus.
The Tab S8 ranks very high for its display. The display is so good. We’re talking about a 1600 x 2560, 120Hz, HDR10+ display.
How about the headphone output? Well, there isn’t one really.
On another important front, battery life is great, just like you’d expect from a high-end device, and the 8,000mAh cell lasts about 13 hours without a problem.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 raises the bar for Android tablets, combining cool design, peppy performance and a fine display.

With the iPad mini 6, Apple has crafted a display that can hold its own against the iPad Pro, and Samsung’s best tablets in basically every metric.
The iPad mini 6 pairs Apple’s speedy A15 Bionic processor and featuring 4GB of RAM, along with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD screen, it has specs that rival other flagships. The A15 Bionic processor that powers the 2021 iPad mini can handle everything you throw at it.
Now to storage. The 2021 iPad mini does not offer a ton of storage. Available internal storage includes 64GB and 256GB only. If that’s your main concern, you should probably lean toward the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9-inch which comes in 128GB, 256 GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.
The stereo speakers on both short edges of the iPad mini 6 pump out clear sound.
Elsewhere, you can write, draw, annotate PDFs, and take notes with the Apple Pencil (2nd generation). The Apple Pencil 2 attaches magnetically to the iPad mini 6.
Apple packed in a reasonable 19.3 watt-hours of battery capacity into the mini 6’s chassis. The battery actually lives up to the all-day claim on the box.
However, there are some trade-offs. You won’t find a headphone jack on the 2021 iPad mini, and it has no multiuser support, too.
Finally, if you have the funds, the iPad mini 6 is one of the tablets you should consider buying for preaching.

Tucked inside the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus are Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, more than enough RAM (8GB or 12GB), 128GB or 256GB of storage, and Android 12 operating system.
The Tab S8 Plus provides an excellent performance. In fact, if you want an iPad Pro-like performance from an Android tablet, look no further than this slate. It offers the same staggering performance as the 2021 iPad Pro.
Display is a strong point for the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus. Much of that dazzling display is thanks to its Super AMOLED technology and 120Hz refresh rate.
It has the same class-leading finish as one of those iPad Pros.
Let’s not forget the Tab S8 Plus’ sublime audio system. Will the speakers replace external speakers? No, but for tablet speakers, they’re exceptional.
Plus, the tablet features a 12MP front-facing camera, including a 13MP/6MP dual array on the back.
We were impressed by the device’s battery life, as it easily lasted through a day of typical use.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is one of the best tablets on the market and it is well worth your consideration.
Worthy of Note
The Apple iPad 10.2 (2021) is also a decent tablet for preaching.
